Ok, a little late on the post, but here are the shots. Chloe and Wyatt (friends) also opened some presents. Their birthday was around that same weekend also.

Isaac shows his moods while a friend holds him. He’s much better with non-family members holding him than Alissa was. She would (and still does) just starts to bawl if it’s not someone she’s very familiar with. And even then, there is no guarantee that she’ll let you hold her.

Hammond’s Candies has a local factory in Denver, CO where they offer free tours. We took a ride over there today to check it out and enjoyed some samples during the presentation. The tour is only about 30 minutes, where you get to view the workers doing their magic. They started doing this in 1920, and it doesn’t look like much has changed. The brief tour makes for a nice stop if you have a handful of kids with you.

We aren’t sure how it happened. Leah and I were still upstairs that morning. But from the variety of stories that the kids are giving us, it involved a hand stand…..and the couch. The picture does most of the talking.
Not sure what it is, but Isaac was smiling about it. In fact, he’s rather predictable. Right when he falls asleep, his eyes start to roll up above his eye lids. Just moments after that, nearly every time, he starts to smile and will even giggle a little. Below is a short photo sequence of the event…

Mommy and baby are doing fine after 3 hours labor and no epidural. He weighed in at 7 pounds 14 ounces and 20 inches long. More to come later, but here are a few shots from the day.
