Ready for Santa

It’s been quite a week, and while I’ve been sleeping all day (I work tonight,) Leah’s been up making sure that cookies were baked for Santa tonight, and that all the presents were wrapped. Even at this point, Leah is still up making final preparations. With the new floor being installed, Alissa’s birthday, and regular day-to-day activities with 4 kids, it’s been pretty hectic over the past couple weeks. With all that said, it looks like we’ll still be ready for Santa. Just before I left for work, we all got together to set out the chocolate milk and cookies for the big man himself. Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas Eve, and to my family at home, I’ll be heading home as quick as possible in the morning :)

I uploaded some pictures and a short clip from my fathers day gift in 2005. This ranks as one of the most memorable experiences in my life, and one of the coolest presents ever. For fathers day, Leah hooked me up with a company called Sky Fighters (no longer in business.) The deal is you get to fly a WWII fighter plane through combat maneuvers against another customer flying another fighter plane. The captains took care of the take offs and landing’s, but we flew the rest of the trip.

Check out the video, it’s the best way to capture what it was like. And keep an eye on the horizon as it will give you a good idea of the steep banks and rolls that we did. There were a couple times I was told we were pushing close to 4g’s and we were inverted more than a few times. Loved every second of it!
