A visit to Berry Patch Farms

A local farm here lets you come and pick your own fruits and vegetables, and this weekend they were holding the Country Harvest Festival. We dropped by with some friends to check out the hay ride, maze, animals, pick some fruit and vegetables, grab our pumpkins for Halloween, and enjoy some live blue grass music.

Pic’s from Cameron and Katies 6th and 10th birthday

Ok, a little late on the post, but here are the shots. Chloe and Wyatt (friends) also opened some presents. Their birthday was around that same weekend also.

Moods

Isaac shows his moods while a friend holds him. He’s much better with non-family members holding him than Alissa was. She would (and still does) just starts to bawl if it’s not someone she’s very familiar with. And even then, there is no guarantee that she’ll let you hold her.

Jenga anyone?

During a day of spring cleaning, the kids manage to find time for a game of Jenga.

First day of school for Katie and Cameron

Shoot, now the adults have to get out of bed early again! I took off work a little early so I could go with Leah to see them off on yet another year. No tears this time…honest (ok, . But it did remind us of how they are growing up so quick.

Open house and back-to-school picnic

We headed to school today for Katie and Cameron to meet their new teachers. They had a picnic afterwards to socialize a bit. Cameron was happy to see his kindergarten teacher, Ms Fox, from last year. Katie nearly knows every single faculty member there, so she got lots of waves and hugs.
Starting at this same school back in 2004, Katie will have gone her complete elementary school tenure here. It will be a big day when she moves on to middle school.
As a side note, I somehow managed to take only one descent shot. And that was of Cameron giving his new teacher a big handshake. We were in and out of Katie’s class pretty quick and I didn’t even stop to think about taking pictures out side at the picnic. *sigh*
