Well, Nanna hopped a flight back home yesterday. It was nice to have her here to help with the kids while Isaac was being delivered, but this clearly brings up another very important issue… I have to start doing dishes again In any case, the kids all enjoyed having here as well and since we have decided that we will most likely not be doing any major road trip, anyone who wants to see little Isaac and the rest of the herd will have to stop by our place instead.

Isaac had his first check up a couple days ago and he’s doing well, gaining a few ounces in weight over a few day period. He sleeps a lot during the day and to be honest, I’m not sure how he’s sleeping at night. The first night Isaac was home I woke up quite a few times, but I’m a hard sleeper. If Leah doesn’t wake me up, it’s quite often I wake up in the morning thinking that the night went pretty well, when it didn’t. But I know she had been up quite a lot at night with Isaac and she’s not getting the good sleep that she deserves. Maybe time to start getting to bed earlier.
Do check the kids albums in the photo gallery. I don’t always make a post to the blog when I upload a new image, and there a few new ones of everyone. The photo’s are in ascending order now with the newest images being first, and they are now being named with the date. So 0806015_xxxx would be a photo taken on June 15, 2008.
