We aren’t sure how it happened. Leah and I were still upstairs that morning. But from the variety of stories that the kids are giving us, it involved a hand stand…..and the couch. The picture does most of the talking.

Wait a sec here…..it’s only noon!?!

I’m starting a new ‘tag’ called “Picture of the Day.” I’ve done this on my VW blog with minimal success, because I don’t normally have a whole lot of opportunity to capture a vw-related picture on a daily basis. With the family though, this happens quite often. So now, instead of just uploading a new picture to the photo gallery and not posting about it because there wasn’t a whole lot of content involved….I’ll simply post them under the “Picture of the Day” tag.

Not sure what it is, but Isaac was smiling about it. In fact, he’s rather predictable. Right when he falls asleep, his eyes start to roll up above his eye lids. Just moments after that, nearly every time, he starts to smile and will even giggle a little. Below is a short photo sequence of the event…

Well, Nanna hopped a flight back home yesterday. It was nice to have her here to help with the kids while Isaac was being delivered, but this clearly brings up another very important issue… I have to start doing dishes again
In any case, the kids all enjoyed having here as well and since we have decided that we will most likely not be doing any major road trip, anyone who wants to see little Isaac and the rest of the herd will have to stop by our place instead.

Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there. I was greeted this morning by my kids who had each made custom cards for me to along with small plants that each of them had planted themselves. The icing on the cake of course was having our new baby boy at home with us. Isaac and mommy continue to do well and we are all settling in to the new groove that is, having a newborn at home.
